Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) is a renewable jet fuel which is a low-carbon, drop-in replacement for Jet A and other similar aviation turbine fuels. SAF blends produced from biomass, vegetable oils and waste resources have the potential to deliver the performance of petroleum-based jet fuels but with a much lower carbon footprint.
Alkcon Corporation has developed a proprietary process for the conversion of methane to synthetic kerosene (SK). Our modular, community-scale processing system can convert natural gas, biogas, landfill gas or wellhead flaring gas to synthetic kerosene or sustainable aviation fuel at the point of use.
AlkconSAF(TM) is coming in 2025.
